Mercy Alive

Mother Seton Award

Each year, Our Lady of Mercy Catholic School seeks to recognize a deserving candidate from our school family to be the recipient of the Mother Seton Award. The Mother Seton Award was created to honor those individuals whose volunteer service and dedication to home, school, and church have been exemplary.

Mr. Paul Catalanatto, our 2019 Mother Seton Award recipient, is suited with a “yes” attitude and is always willing to join a committee that benefits his church and school

Chef Paul caters and prepares many of the delicious meals served at the many banquets hosted by our church and school. He has served as Food Committee Chairman for the Mercy Auction and Fair for several years, as well as wearing various other service hats.

Paul is married to wife Lisa and has three children –  Brandi Clay; Michelle Catalanatto; and Paul Catalanatto all of whom have attended Our Lady of Mercy School.

The Our Lady of Mercy community is pleased to name Mr. Paul Catalanatto as this year’s recipient of the Mother Seton Award. “Paul Cat” as he is affectionately known, was honored at a reception in early May along with other Diocesan Mother Seton Award winners. Mr. Catalanatto’s character is the personification of our school’s motto, “Prayer, Knowledge, and Service.” The Mercy Community is pleased to recognize this very deserving Christian man, who is rooted in strong Catholic values, and has a selfless, humble dedication to our parish.
