Merry Mercy

Saturday, December 1
4:00 – 8:00 pm
Our Lady of Mercy

Merry Mercy: SHARE OUR LIGHT – is a celebration in anticipation of the birth of Jesus Christ; a celebration of the Gospel call to first serve the least among us in His name. A portion of the proceeds from Merry Mercy will benefit our St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Each year at the beginning of Advent, OLOM ceremonially “Shares Our Light” with the first lighting of our grand live oak trees around the church and school campus. Thousands of tiny twinkling lights will symbolize our parish’s commitment to making the seasons of Advent and Christmas centered around the Light of God’s great love.

The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; upon those who dwelt in the land of gloom a light has shone. For a child is born to us, a Son is given us; upon his shoulder dominion rests. They name him Wonder-Counselor, God Hero, Father-Forever, Prince of Peace.          -Isaiah 9
