KICK-OFF PRESENTATIONS THURSDAY 12 MARCH

A few weeks ago I shared with you the very important project of beginning a Master Plan Process for Our Lady of Mercy Church and School. The purpose of this process is to ask ourselves the questions: Where do we see Our Lady of Mercy twenty (20) years down the road? What do parishioners feel are our needs present and future? And importantly, how do we prioritize these needs? We have contracted with CPEX (Center for Planning Excellence), a non-profit organization whose roots began with the Baton Rouge Area Foundation and is headed by Ms. Boo Thomas. CPEX has been very instrumental in Downtown Development Planning and in the Government Street Project. For these reasons, CPEX is perfectly suited to help us with a Master Plan for Our Lady of Mercy. I am inviting all of you as faithful families, parishioners, and friends of OLOM to participate in one of two “Come and See” sessions. This is an opportunity to meet the team of directors from CPEX and participate in offering insights into our needs, dreams, and goals for the future. It will also be an opportunity to ask questions and share new ideas. There will be two (2) opportunities for the “Come and See” sessions: DAYTIME SESSION 1: 10:00 am Thursday 12 March 2015 OLOM PAC
EVENING SESSION 2: 6:00 pm Thursday 12 March 2015 OLOM School Gym I ask your continued prayers for the Holy Spirit’s guidance in this nine (9) month process in moving Our Lady of Mercy Parish to best serve the people of God in assessing the needs for the future.
To all of Mercy’s faithful families, I pray God’s blessings.

Fr. Cleo
