Hands & Hearts of Mercy

Hands & Hearts of Mercy

“Christ has no body now but yours. No hands, no feet on earth but yours. Yours are the eyes through which he looks compassion on this world. Yours are the feet with which he walks to do good. Yours are the hands through which he blesses all the world. Yours are the hands, yours are the feet, yours are the eyes, you are his body. Christ has no body now on earth but yours.”

Teresa of Avila

What We Do:

Let’s put our Hands and Hearts to work at Mercy, come serve with us! Parents and children are invited to serve those most in need throughout our community. See below for volunteer opportunities. If your team, club, or organization would like to serve together, please contact us and we will help schedule that experience for you!

Open Air Ministries:

Offered the 3rd Sunday of every month through May
Every Sunday at 12:00pm-1:00pm homeless men, women and children gather for worship in the parking lot of SVDP next to the SVDP Soup Kitchen. While the men and women listen to bible stories and a sermon to strengthen their faith, their children are given time to gather in small group to enhance their own. We are looking for volunteers to help with the children’s ministry the third Sunday of each month from 12:00-12:45pm. We would love to have you one weekend!
