Mercy Alive

Dear friends,

“Goodbyes are not forever, are not the end; it simply means I’ll miss you until we meet again.”

As you read my small goodbye note, I will have already left Mercy – the parish that is so dear to my heart.

I have enjoyed my time at Mercy with a cozy stay and delicious food at the rectory. I’d like to extend my gratitude and thanks to your vibrant pastor, Fr. Cleo Milano and
Fr. Nutan for their friendly hospitality. I’d like to thank the parish office staff and the school family for their kindness during my stay and lastly, thanks to all of YOU, all of the Mercy parishioners who were so generous to me – ‘you have touched me and I have grown.’

My message to you is: Keep the faith; love your spouses and children; love the Church; do not allow sin to distract you from following Jesus Christ.

Till we meet again…hopefully in July 2020; pray for me and my mission in India. I will remember you and pray for you as you all will stay in my heart. Smile, God loves you!

“May the Lord bless and keep you; may He let His face shine upon you; and be gracious to you; and give you His peace.”

Fr. Steve Rodrigues, O.F.M.Cap.
