Food for the Holidays

Two Great Opportunities to Help Those In Need In Our Community!

Food for the Holidays
“For I was Hungry and you gave me to eat.”

During the month of November, each of us is encouraged to be bread for others. Empty baskets will be arranged around the Tabernacle in the Sanctuary. Please bring non-perishable food items to be given to the needy of our area for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Suggested items for the food baskets:

Canned Beans (red and white)
Tuna Fish
Peanut Butter
Corn
Peas
Disposable Diapers
Yams
Potted Meat (Spam, Vienna Sausage, Ham)
Rice
Pasta and Pasta Sauce
Canned Fruit

Thanksgiving Basket and Hot Food Distribution

This year our parish plans to distribute food baskets and hot meals to the needy on the Monday of Thanksgiving week (November 23rd) at 11:00 am in the Gerard’s Furniture parking lot.

Your help is needed in bringing Thanksgiving blessings to those in need in our community! Our volunteers need assistance transporting boxes of food; set up; distributing
non-perishable food boxes and serving hot meals. This is a great opportunity to serve the needy in our community.
